2025 Toyota C-HR Review: Design, Specs, and Price

The 2024 Toyota C-HR features three trim levels. XLE, Nightshade, and Limited trims All variations use the segment’s weakest I4 engine. Drivers and passengers dislike slow acceleration. No AWD upgrade for continuously variable transmission.

2024 Toyota C-HR Exterior

The new C-HR looks like a high-performance compact. Its bright exterior colours and coupe-like shape make it attractive. Its Corolla- and Prius-like front end makes it seem familiar and inviting. The engine hood bends well. Base models have great wheels and tires. Elegant 18-inch black-and-alloy rims Nice mirror turn signal. The Limited variant has chrome window panels, but the basic trim is blacked out. Roof spoilers have integrated brake lights.

Unique rear end. The stunning SUV appears more forceful and elegant with optional Toyota Bi-tone paint. The car’s diamond-shaped design is visible inside. The automobile stands out with its huge tail lights. A 172.6-inch automobile, it looks good. 70.7 inches wide without mirrors. Taller folks find 61.6 inches short. The 5.9-inch minimum ground clearance creates a low center of gravity.

2024 Toyota C-HR Interior

XLE fabric chairs are comfortable, too. The dashboard components give the interior a powerful, soft finish, but the plastic panels seem cheap. The steering column is plastic, while the dash is imitation leather with embroidery. Engine noise enters the cabin. Keyless entry and push-button start may help drivers. Optional all-weather door mats help clean the automobile. Taller drivers have less legroom in the front row. The headliner decorations and car-coloured diamond pattern plastic on the door add fun.

C-HR characteristics are current. The cabin seems young. Only the XLE has dual-zone automatic temperature control. The Limited has heated power-adjustable front seats. Tablet holders cost extra, but the two 12V outlets charge phones. The cargo room is mediocre compared to the market leader, the Honda HR-V. No model has a sunroof. C-HR gauge needles are distinctive. The piano black steering wheel buttons maintain the diamond concept throughout the interior. The Toyota Supra-like dash leans toward the driver. The C-HR seats 86 cu ft.

2024 Toyota C-HR Specs

The sporty C-I4 HR’s engine may be upgraded with turbochargers or superchargers. Toyota kept the same engine this year. Its 144 horsepower is low for its category. The engine starts, but not that much. 60,000-mile powertrain warranty on the engine and gearbox engine and just a CVT automatic transmission. With FWD alone, the C-HR cannot be converted to AWD. 0-60 mph takes 10.6 seconds for the automobile. It gets 27 city, 31 highways, and 29 combined mpg. Its range is 356.4 city miles, 409.2 highway miles, and 382.8 combined.

The Kia Soul outperforms the Toyota C-HR despite being cheaper. The Hyundai Kona accelerates the quickest. The new Volkswagon Taos races the Kona in microseconds. The new C-HR is the weakest. The fastest Kona is new. The 8-speed automatic Taos has the greatest power. New Kona and Taos justify their pricing. The C-HR is expensive and uncompetitive.

2024 Toyota C-HR Engine and Performance

Comfortable C-HR chairs. The Limited has power-adjustable heated seats. The standard trim’s front-row seats fit average-height people, while the second-row seats are tight. Long drives with kids are fine. XLE fabric chairs with blue contrast and strong bolstering The steering column doesn’t telescope properly. Driver’s seat is required to push pedals closer, compromising comfort. Tall drivers cannot drive an automobile. It accelerates with less power. Its CVT is unpopular. Deceleration. Normal mode lacks The automobile seems stable and low-centred. It twists solidly with minimal body roll.

Toyota offers a four-wheel C-HR disc-brake system. The pre-collision system alerts the driver to brake if a frontal accident is likely. The system may brake if the driver does not. Sometimes the brake pedal seems stiff. The pedal movement distance is shorter, and stopping requires greater effort. Brakes may fail at high speeds. Brake pedals can respond differently. It has 11.8-inch front and 11.1-inch rear brake rotors.
