2025 Nissan Rogue

One thing that sets the 2025 Nissan Rogue apart is its exceptional comfort. Besides being easy to ride, it also has some of the most comfortable seats ever to protect our backs. The Rogue’s interior is also impressive, with attractive materials and cutting-edge technology. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming 2025 Nissan Rogue.

What’s New in 2025?

Nissan updated its Compact SUV for the 2025 model year, with a shinier grille, new wheels and a redesigned rear bumper. Inside, there are some minor changes, but the most notable addition is the 12.3-inch touchscreen. It only replaces the previous 9.0-inch unit on the SL and Platinum versions, but also introduces a Google-based infotainment system and accompanying apps. The Nissan Connect service now has a three-year trial period, up from six months previously.

Nissan Rogue Design in 2025

If we talk about design, the 2025 Nissan Rogue will not change its exterior Design for the upcoming model year. The current Rogue sports a stunning exterior design, featuring sharp daytime running lights, rectangular headlights in the center of the front fascia, and a tiered grille. The Rogue has a short rear spoiler, wrap-around taillights and a prominent body line on the tailgate.

2025 Nissan Rogue Interior

Inside, the 2025 Rogue is inspired by the Altima family of cars and the Sentra compact sedan. Rich-looking design details such as discreet storage compartments, a two-tier dashboard and a square-shaped shift knob enhance practicality and add a modern feel to the interior. Cloth upholstery is basic, although mid-level SV models can be ordered with optional faux leather upholstery; The expensive SL and Platinum Rogues come in genuine leather, the latter a semi-aniline leather with quilted stitching. Three-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are optional.

2025 Nissan Rogue Engine

All Rogues have been powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder with 201 horsepower from 2022. The inline-three is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive; all-wheel drive is available as an option. We noticed the turbocharged three-cylinder Rogue seemed more lively than prior iterations, which were powered by a non-turbo 2.5-liter four-cylinder.

However, on our test track, its acceleration was not noticeably faster than the 2021 with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder. The turbocharged three-cylinder engine manages to propel the Rogue to 60 mph in 7.8 seconds, barely 0.4 seconds faster than the 2021 model. On the road, the Rogue provides a comfortable ride that’s suitable for commuting and road trips, but its casual approach to cornering hasn’t won any lovers among our editors.

What about MPG? The 2025 Rogue’s turbocharged three-cylinder engine is capable of getting up to 30 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. Fitting all-wheel drive drops those predictions to 28mpg in the city and 35mpg on the highway, and the top-spec Platinum trim drops the highway stats even further to 34mpg. Our all-wheel-drive Platinum test vehicle returned a disappointing 31 mpg on a fuel-efficient 75 mph interstate route.

2025 Nissan Rogue Price and Release Date

The 2025 Nissan Rogue will start at $29,810 and can go up to $40,090 depending on trim and add-ons. The mid-level SV model provides good value for money. It gets 18-inch aluminum wheels, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 360-degree exterior camera system, and Nissan ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous driving mode. We also added the SV Premium package, which includes a panoramic sunroof, power-operated rear liftgate, roof rails and faux leather upholstery.

When can we enjoy it? The 2025 Nissan Rogue is expected to go on sale this summer. More information about this tiny SUV will be published in the next few months.

Front parking sensors and traffic sign recognition should be available as optional features.

Infotainment and Connectivity

While the Rogue comes standard with an 8.0-inch screen, the SL and Platinum variants get a larger 12.3-inch screen with Google-based software.
